- Well, half the fun of the candle is the flame, but I've ruined enough carpets by having melted wax overflow that I should probably get one of these, lol.

- These candles are a great idea! Very safe. Another safe alternative is to use an essential oil diffuser.

- Thanks for joining our group - we are new at this but would like to learn more. You put a "Plex" in our lens group. We like the idea of flameless candles also - we have the type that burn.

- Not only are they safer, but they won't leave the black soot on your walls that will make it necessary to repaint! You really can't scrub it off. Flameless is the way to go.

- I bought & used a set of flameless vanilla scented (snowman) candles for the holidays this year. It was my first time using or experiencing flameless candles. It was amazing how much they flickered and glowed like lit candles. I would catch myself at times almost telling people to be careful not to get to close to the flame! Very cool! Everone loved them! I want to get some "yearround" flameless candles!

- We have several cats, so I've really cut back on candles in the house. My husband received one of these as a gift and it looks and smells like the real thing. I'll definitely be getting more of them. Great lens idea supporting a wonderful cause.

- We used flameless candles to help set the mood at my parents 50th Wedding Anniversary held in an old historic hotel, where candles could have been difficult.
They are also great with young children!
Thanks for the lens for the Squidoo Fire Aid Challenge.
